Its good component for playing music, but not for playing sounds in games, because there no sound effects like pan, frequency and so on. Lifepower says that he will insert BASS support in new version of Asphyre, but if you dont want to wait, you can improve your player if you want.

This component is a good idea, but can you implement some functions to get the FFT- or Sampledata, CPU Usage etc ?
I've added a small Unit so you can use this if you want. I know it's not a problem to make it inside the own application, but so you can wrap more functions... It's only an idea. And the other point of view is, if we make a good "AsphyreSound" - Component, Lifepower has more time to make other goodies
