Hii Lifepower,
i'am back from hollydays now and my first question:

Any news about the new Asphyre Release ???

I will now restart the thread "Soundlib", but it was important to know if the new release will come within the next time...

A little bit offtopic, but do you think anyone is interested in a ne w Soundlib. I don't have seen any comment or something like that. I hope it will be more than wasting of time

Your soundlib will use bass?

Yes! I´m interested in your soundlib! I still did have a problem to chosse the definitive soundlib for my games!

It would be nice if the soundlib be Windows and Mac compatible also!

Thanks!

Asphyre 4.2 will be a sort of "wrapper" for Asphyre Casual, so they will share the same resource loading mechanism.

What do you mean about "shaders & animation"? Asphyre 4.1 fully supports shaders, if this is the question.

Hey lifepower, animated professional 3D models can be created without big expensive software, check out Blender. We used it for learning 3D at my university, it does 3D modeling and animation also. Also very small download (8MB).

Hi LifePower

About shaders, yes this is ok in the current version, but i have a lot of difficulties to understand how to make it work correctly, i was hopping that in the next release, it can be easier to use ^^
For animation, as you know i'v convert some units to be able to use animated skinned mesh (.x), thats working but for exemple, to use shaders on it, i'm not able to do it... Some class and functions for this kind of things should be really usefull
Thanks for your work !

I have already done it. However, the skinned/animated meshes are not very performant. If you want to display 1-2 animated meshes - this is fine. For more meshes, an instancing scheme needs to be implemented.
