pegasus have success using stream with zlib compression on Lazarus, but i dont remember the name, maybe you can ask for him.

I've fixed most problems. Porting to FPC/Lazarus is complete. Now Asphyre has portable ASDb.

This is getting serious

Great stuff! Is the version in the first post updated to Lazarus compatibility?

Thanks! No, I haven't updated the package yet. I'm working on a new front page and it takes quite some time to write content. In a couple of days I think it'll come online.

I would like to know if there would forthcoming releases. I also remember that Lifepower said that sprites in new version of Asphyre4 will be drawn with using of matrices. Any progress in this direction?

Currently it is only used by special primitives that explicitly require it, such as hexagons (check "FillHexagon"). Other primitives don't use it because it apparently creates a lot of overhead, especially if you want to draw simple stuff.

Next release of Asphyre Casual will support both method for most primitives. Same thing will happen with Asphyre 4.2.

But what about sprites? Or they are primitives, too?
