We are happy to announce the official release of a Micro Pascal eXtended Library, also known as MicroPXL. This library is a successor to our popular Asphyre / PXL framework, supporting embedded platforms, desktop and single-board computers, leveraging devices such as Raspberry PI. The library is focused mainly on peripheral access, such as serial port, I²C, SPI and GPIO, supporting a variety of displays, sensors and cameras. The library has been updated to support 64-bit applications running on Raspberry PI 4 with fast I/O operations. Raspberry PI 5 is supported through standard sysfs interface, fast I/O is still under development.
